This weekend saw three of our members going to compete in the NTSA, National Target Shotgun, English championships, 3 competitions shot over 2 days.
Day one started with birdshot standards, 12 steel plate knock down targets shot in the fastest time and Christopher McLaren was top shot closely followed by Nick Barnard in second place .
The next two competitions were multi target and timed and precision using 12 gauge solid slugs at various distances from 25m down to 15m with the added pressure of time limits , all three members held their own with Nick taking the multi target win and Chris taking the overall win , all in all a very tight competition as only 5 points separated the top 7.
Sunday's competition was the 100m slug , precision and shotgun not usually put together, Mark Roberts was the Victor and became 100m English champion in this event closely followed by Nick and Chris was 3rd .
So cracking results from Team Reepham.
If you fancy giving it a go then get in touch with the club secretary and also worth noting that Reepham will be hosting the National Championships on the 5th/6th of July. Don't miss this one!
